Todd is amazing. And we need to hold on to the ball more next game. MAN the SEC is looking extremely well

Todd isn't playing SEC ball. He's holding onto it for too long and is too slow getting out of the pocket. Next week is our last chance for him to shape up becuase the more experienced SEC defenses are going to wear him out.

The the offenseive coordinators are putting their effort into the wrong player. I think Todd is good but I think Kodi is better.

I agree that Todd needs to be fast in the pocket, but I also have little faith in Kodi Burns...mainly because we dominated the SEC with a pass game and Jason Campbell

Todd makes far better throws than Kodi does at this point. You have to expect that seeing as Todd was recruited to play at Texas Tech originally. Either could play but I prefer a dynamic QB over an accurate passer. It's going to come down to what kind of QB Franklin prefers.

i have to disagree slightly jake. i think that kodi makes passes better than todd most of the time. the recievers just F it up everytime he throws it so it looks like he cant complete a pass.

Our O line looked like dick yesterday. souther miss was pushing them around the field like some jv backups, and i think with them stepping it up a notch Todd will be way more comfortable in the pocket.

Rankings aren't perfect but I don't see why you'd say they are BS.... ??I'm guessing Texas jumped Auburn? Texas blew the head off both of their opponents thus far..... I don't see why it's BS they are a spot in front of Auburn? I wouldn't get too involved with the polls this early, at least wait for the BCS, damn.

it's not going to matter here within the next 3 weeks people are going to be knocking each other off. USC vs. Ohio

it's not going to matter here within the next 3 weeks people are going to be knocking each other off. USC vs. OhioHence the reason I said don't get too involved. There will be a few "Shake-up Saturdays coming in the following weeks. OSU-USC, Auburn-LSU, UGA-Bama, Fresno State-Wisconsin [upset alert game]. Don't get upset when the loser of OSU/USC only drop to say 8th or 9th and pushes Auburn back. That's just what happens when teams in the top 5 play each other. Same goes for LSU/Auburn, say Auburn loses.... they won't drop out of the top 15. When the BCS comes out, we can start bitchin.

No, the Texas thing I can handle. It's BS because Florida looked pretty weak over Miami and jumped a spot and because your boys put up 172 total yards on Tulane and jumped two spots. Every review of that game that I've read notes Bama's play as a stark contrast from what you were raving about the week before. I'm not saying we should have moved up. If we hadn't had those fumbles we probably would have. And I know it's early, doesn't mean it's not BS. ;)

So what, +/- 2 places in the week 2 poll means nothing.

You think Florida shouldn't be in front of Ohio State? Because that's why they jumped a spot.

Did you watch all the other games of teams UA jumped? Maybe they were lackluster too (or worse). One of the was West Virginia.

Yet the whole poll is BS.... I think your post was BS. :P

Head lines state Bama coasts and Auburn struggles, what games where they watching. In no way did Southerns defense look like it was giving our Offensive line any problems, but Tulane was all over Bamas. I dont care about the poles but it seems everyone in the media is working really hard to push Bama to the front.

Every review of that game that I've read notes Bama's play as a stark contrast from what you were raving about the week before.Florida & Alabama didn't look as weak as Ohio State. Florida moved up because Ohio St lacked a presence vs Ohio University. Top 10 West Virginia got headbusted by ECU, that's why Alabama moved up, and they gained the other spot over Texas Tech who the pollsters finally realized was heavily overrated at #11. Alabama was in just as much control of the game against Tulane as Auburn was over Southern Miss. UA's defense has yet to give up a touchdown this year, not many D1 teams can say that & one win came against a supposed "Top 10" team. Now, my opinion on Tulane. They are a sleeper in CUSA for sure.... they came out hitting and caught Alabama off guard, but could not sustain anything in the game. They have had 6 weeks to prepare for Alabama with no opening weekend game, and then all of last week they were chilling in Birmingham [without classes] learning UA's offense even more. Think that had something to do with them being ready? Not to mention UA had a patched O-line with All-American Andre Smith out, and the starting right guard went out in the first qt. We will find out about Tulane next weekend when they go up against newly #14 ranked ECU. I'd be willing to bet they give them a game. Lastly, where was I raving about Alabama's performance?
