Jim who? If you are reffering to ex-jdmsol, then it is his fiance's car. I traded because my mom was tired of things continuously screwing up on the Prelude. She suggested that I get some kind of 03 with all warranties, so I did.
Haahahahhaa.....wait until some problems arise on that Jetta  $$$$$$$

i hear the rear windows are on plastic tracks and that they fuck up when you drive on the interstate with them down
but thats just word on the street, could be wrong, but be prepared

Hey Ian... I also heard that a stock Auto Prelude could beat a chipped Jetta. That's just what I heard though, I could be wrong

Don't worry Kel. They updated the plastic tracks to metal ones, and supposedly finally fixed the coil-pack problem. The only thing you have to worry about is hurting guy's feelings. 8)

True..BUUUUT, the metal tracks are made of a special alloy that have certain properties that make it capable of storing massive amounts of kinetic energy (AKA static electricity). After a long drive, especially on a cold, dry day, coming in contact with one of these runnners could prove disastrous as the amount of energy they are capable of storing could put down a horse.
VW plans to replace the metal tracks with the isotope Uranium-9 which has been shown to cause instant death in labratory rats.
j/k congrats on the ride :pimp:

BTW it is Kelli... It wouldn't matter if I knew how to drive one or not. My parents have this thing with automatics. I think my mom believes since we all trade cars so often, that the resale value is higher.

Yeah... I'll still be around on Honda-Tech... Actually it was Rob's suggestion. I went to look at the Mazda 6 and he pointed out that right next door was the VW place and for about the same amount of money I could get a turbo :D

yea, thats cool. In my opinion, i would have gotten a V6 auto over a turbo auto. Once you really drive a 5spd you wont go back. Congrats again. I'll look for you on VWVortex (hehe)

Congrats on the Jetta. I love mine. About the window regulator problem it does affect the 03's but if you go to the dealership they should fix it for free. My passenger side front wondow fell into the door about a week ago during the night and they fixed all 4 for free.
