From another forum

I just picked up the July issue of Car and Driver magazine. They did a full test of the Ferrari Enzo. In the article they mentioned that the Enzo uses a special Shell Helix 10W-60 synthetic oil, of which the V-12 requires 12.2 quarts. Each quart cost $60. If you think that $732 is criminal, consider that the factory won't warrant your engine if you don't use this oil. Estimates for a replacement engine........$200,000.
The cost of replacing the carbon-ceramic brake pads....$6000. The cost of replacing a set of rotors of the same material $24,000.

Here are some numbers.
0-60.......3.3sec
0-100.....6.6sec
1/4mile...11.1@136mph
1.05g in 200ft skidpad
Top speed 209mph

Yeah the carbon fiber racing seat that is custom molded to your body upon purchase of the car is also a cool $20,000

Thats crap man, we custom mold our carbon fiber seats and they cost a wee bit less than $20k. I'm sure their's are muuuuch nicer, but $19500 nicer? That's a stretch.

It's what the ferarri guy said when they were talking with him at the detroit auto show on speed channel. I guess they figure if you're spending half a million on a car 20K for "the ultimate seat" is chump change.
