Hey Guys I would like to plan for another gun meet before we leave for the semester.

To shoot off this occasion I present the following for your pleasure.
I call it Gun Control.

It's first come first serve so it could go either way. Don't bring the RX up here though; you'll want a truck/SUV unless someone has some room for you to ride along with them.

The range is 100yd IIRC.

If there's even the slightest chance it'll be packed I'll just stick to the short range stuff. Will be in truck with NRA sticker proudly displayed. ;)

I still have a few of the Obama/Biden signs that I pulled from under my truck. Do you think it would be too controversial to use them as targets?

There is a bunch of crap on the range; you can line up anything from 10yd to 100yd plus a little extra on the dune at the back of the range (I think I ranged it out at 118yd but I don't rememeber for sure).

As for the O/B signs; I didn't know they made anything besides something like that for targets. :dropit:

We looked really hard for some last weekend when I went and sighted in the 300. None to be found unfortunately when we went. I will be bringing the H&K Pistola and possibly the 12 gauge shotty.

Ok for Saturday this can shake out either of two ways.

1) We meet up about 12:00pm and eat lunch at Pannie George's and then head out there.


2) We meet at around 1:30 and go out for shooting fun.

If you are new to this area then you need to know that you need to get a range pass from either Locum's or the gas station on the way out there.

Was planning on bringing a 16" DPMS flattop that I put together this spring. Its got a quadrail, ctr stock, Eotech 511.A65, and a super comfy tangodown grip.
