Hey guys, I was going to rebuild my S13 vert from the ground up again, but im moving and going to buy a new car. I already have two other S14s :). Lets get down to business. I bought this car about 3 years ago, convert it to 5 speed, put in a rb20, and painted skyline tv2 blue. However, I decided to pull out the rb20 and had plans to put in a rb25. Car is located in Phenix City, 5min away from columbus ga.
Needs---engine/tranny, passenger fender, ds, xmember, front seats, exhaust, radiator support
Top is in good condition, but need new rear plastic.
Car was painted Dupont Skyline TV2 blue about two years ago. No longer have sideskirts or suspension as shown in the pic.
The title is under my name, however, I still need to look through my paperwork/files for it.
Im asking $455 for the car. Can include S14 front seats for $120, KGG lowering springs $110. Needs to be towed.

well, the car shouldnt have been bought without a title in the first place.
but regardless, you said you have a title. if you cant find it then go get one made. since youre the owner of the car.
whatever, anyways. get this kid a title asshole.

Agreed. That was an error on my part. I assumed since he was acquainted with people I knew that he was for the most part sincere. But I will no longer make exceptions.
Ive received pretty much no conclusive feedback.. well a couple months ago he did Politely said he was busy with spring break..getting car ready for track day etc...A secondary consideration, And that he would get it situated soon, But in total 5 months is enough time to have gone and filed for a replacement title (Which I was willing to pay for). At one point he Justified his situation by saying.."I already gave you a good deal on it" and "Included all these other parts" as if I was offending him. But Bottom line is, I want the title.
If he was working to get a Title or having issues its appropriate to keep me in the loop yes?.

word.
Jimmy is a good guy. Always been incredibly polite and granted the title thing should have been sorted by now, but I don't think hostility is a necessary course of action with him.

I do not know Jimmy all that well. But yes, he was very polite and seemed like a good guy. This situation seemed out of character for him..I figured I might have made a mistake in my first impression, I am too trusting anyway.
The biggest thing that bothers me is lack of feedback. I would be sympathetic if I was kept informed of his activites, or lack thereof involving the title.

First off, I sold the car saying that, I have the title, but do not know where its whereabout! If I was to not going to give you the title, why would I leave all the stuff on there! R32 x member, hub, s14 seats etc. That stuff was worth more than the shell itself.
Secondly, I told you what the deal was. I was on spring break then head off to Virginia after school ended. I told you I have filed for a lost title along with the $15 money order that was sent out when I did get back from Virgina! I do not know why I have not receive the title yet. Its a waiting game!
3rdly, after my conversation with Will today, I went and get another paper to file for lost title. I will make documents of it this time and copies of it showing that the process was/is being done!
4th, you keep assuming that i never had the title! I show you proof of everything but a title when you got the car.

I definitely do NOT remember you informing me you had already filed for a lost title.
I recall you saying you "Would head down to the DMV" when you got back in to town a while back and I remember offering to pay the fee for doing so. And I do not remember any messages saying you had filed for it and were waiting on it to be processed.
If we were simply waiting on the State to come up with a replacement title I would not be concerned and I would consider the issue closed. Now that I am aware of this its a totally different situation that I do not hold you responsible for in any way.
*edit*
and also could have been said in response to the PM I sent you several days before I posted here. I saw you were online since then and received no reply.

HAHAHA,only 5 Months!!!
Don't even ask how long it took me to get a title from your dad.Whats even more sad is that it was a place of business, not some for sale by owner deal.
but it was worth the wait:headbang:

The issue with the title for your truck had to do with the time it took to be processed by the state.
I would not have complained had I known this was the issue here as well. Not being given regular feedback otherwise I had assumed I was still waiting on him to "file" for the title. Him filing for the title was a crucial step I should have been informed of. That's all Im saying now.
I told you what I could when I could, but the title was not my responsibility and had it been it would have been less tedious for you Anthony. My dad knew little either because the people working on the title were lower management who later proved to be problem employees anyway..who failed to keep him in the loop as well.
And yes Jimmy. You did say you would work on it, and Indeed you have and thank you. My only issue then is with the lack of feedback on its status. Had I known you had filed for it I wouldn't have had to call you out needlessly.
