That's a pretty sweet gun. I use to want one really bad when I worked at Academy Sports back in the day :D If I didn't just drop $$ on an XD I would definitely take it off your hands. Great price for a great pistol!

You could still buy it. he is a third party seller. It would just suck if you shoot someone and the cops showed up at Sams house

If Anthony shot up some busta, they might go to Sam's house, but Sam just shows them the bill of sale, and then Anthony's done for. :D

Sam, are you going Glock?

Since when do you have to be 21 to buy a handgun? If so, that's news to me.. but I'm no expert.

I know you have to be 21 to have a license to conceal... aka permit.

You HAVE to be 21 to purchase a handgun or long gun (rifle/shotgun) with a pistol grip. The long gun rule is less strictly enforced as the handgun rule though.

However, you only have to be 19 to get a concealed permit if you have parents permission and a clean record.

Negative. Mossberg's shorty pistol grip pump, AR15's, and AK47's are all obtainable at the age of 18.

You HAVE to be 21 to purchase a handgun from a DEALER at a retail store or pawn shop. You can purchase any firearm at the age of 18 through private party sale though.

Won't fly in Montgomery, Autauga, or Elmore county. 21 or nothing.

That's why I said the long gun rule is less strictly enforced. Academy Sports will not sell an AR to anyone under 21. Another gun store I go to in Birmingham will sell an AR to 18 year olds but won't sell the Mossberg 500/590 series with the included pistol grip to anyone under 21. Depends on where you buy.

If you get your pistol permit in another county at age 19 (Shelby, Lee, etc.) then that permit should be applicable in any county in Alabama it seems like. Wouldn't it look just like the pistol permit that I have? And I wasn't sure about the legality of private party sales so I didn't mention that, but I know you can get a pistol at a gun show if you aren't 21.

Nice gun, I looked at some of those before I settled on what I want.

The Millennium Pros are nice.

I'm sold on an XD-45 though. If I hear of anyone looking, I'll point them in your direction.

Sam,
I have several handguns and my springfield 1911 is by far my favorite. It's a bit big and heavy to carry IMO, but it a great shooting gun.
