But 2JZ engine. No shit, this should decimate all after you put about 15 grand in it or more...If we have to, overnight parts from japan

We got the motor physically bolted to the car tonight, fits ok.It has clearance for the stock hood to close.also might have enough room for a 240 radiator with a pusher fan..It might end up V mounted tho..Time for rear end and transmission!!!

Well got the trans adapter today (Thanks Donnie) were gonna see how much the w58 will hold up to in a rx-7, but overall the car is coming together very quickly so hopefully we will see a trans in it and mounted up next weekend. im thinking of wiring it up to see how the motor runs but we will se what happens

About the same as most cars it could be housed in, a handful of hard launches at 500hp. The significant weight difference might help it survive, but you can just roll race the bitch. :D

Mine never broke launching - only roll racing it. My car weighed 3700lbs with me where his car will weigh less than 2500lbs with him. It should be fine. I suspect it will take the car to at least mid 10s.

Im sure it will last just long enough to save up for an R154.

No, if it grenades w58's he'll save up for a TH400...I do hope it see's mid 10's!! but it should see mid 12's by summer:cool:

Mine never broke, lives on 450+ crank for a while now launching at 4k w/boost. As for the tire, it doesn't get much stickier that ET drags. Don't believe the mkiv hype
