Brandon and I went to check out the S13 and S14 I mentioned in my earlier post. Well after searching through all of back woods Alabama for a few hrs we finally found him. He works nights so wasn't responding to his cell phone hence the boy scout mission. By the way he got word of my car and called off any racing, which is actually good for safety and ticket sake. :wink:
It turned out the S14 wasn't there but he is going to bring it by work Sat to let me check it out for Brandon.
The S13 on the other hand was there. It's a black 91 SE coupe/notchback. Exterior looked really good, interior was in good shape as well with no tears on the seats and the dash was kept up and not cracked. He cranked it up and Brandon took off to try it out. He said it pulled really smooth and the clutch feels really good, the only thing was that the brakes were weak and the pedal had alot of travel. Also the digital display wasn't working, but the tach was operating fine.
We talked for a little bit, real cool guy, and eventually got around to the price. In his words "man I don't know, I'll probably take $600 for it or something like that". :shock: :shock:
If all goes well I might be going to pick it up tommorrow. Brandon is still gunning for the S14 (just wants something newer if he can). I'll probably keep the S13 and if Brandon can't get a good S14 I'll just sell him the S13. If not I'll be keeping it as my daily driver so da R can become a track beast or at least a little more non-daily driver. I'll fill you guys in tommorrow.
