Well, I didn't win it, but I was the 6th one to go out of the eight there. I ran against a 5.0 with a blower and scoop sticking out of the hood to get knocked out of round 2. It was nice to go that far at least. To the good part now. I ran my best time ever tonight in the first round of the Quick 8 against a pretty quick T/A. Here is the run down of the times since my scanner recently passed away:
I'm S2........

S01 S2
R/T 1.112 .967

Thanks, guys. :)

Matt - I figured this website would help you with your hatch. www.honda-tech.com Absolutely, the biggest honda forum with the most amount of tech info and help. I usually hang out in the Forced Induction section where you can get help from people that have 11 sec honda/acuras.

Scott,

Thanks, but i've already been on Honda Tech for a few weeks now. :) Mostly just browsing. Already bought a new set of stock taillights from the classifieds section though. (old ones were a bit melted)

There are a lot of really nice cars on that site, I was quite surprised by the relative lack of rice.

Good job, but why are your 1/8mi times so slow? :? 60' and trap are both nice but the 1/8mi ET is just off.

There are a handful of people on there running 9s and 10s.

Oh, just to show you how large Honda-Tech is, Roger Foo used to post on there everyday until he became a superstar. He still posts on occasion.

Are we supposed to know who Roger Foo is?

I believe he is the guy who drives the protege wagon in one of the race seris. I think...

I am guessing because I don't have a lot of area under my torque curve. Check out my dyno graph again. Also, I have a rather large turbo with lag. If this isn't a good explanation, then I am clueless to my 1/8 times. I gave up worrying about the 1/8th mile.

Yes. He runs in Speed Touring. Taz Harvey is on H-T as well (another Speed Touring guy). Also just about every racer of the ECHC (East Coast Honda Challenge) posts on H-T frequently.

Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing. From the few Honda turbo kit graphs I've seen, it seems pretty typical to have a really 'peaky' power curve. Since the higher gears are closer together, not as much of an issue at top end.
