Please develop software for the N54. They are sticking them in everything they can possibly get their hands on. Its worth it, there's an ever expanding market and you would blow all the current tuning options out of the water. I'm tired of piggies and sissy-ass tuned $2k flashes.

I've already been telling tom, They said something might develop later on. I wish they would though.

Off topic but I had no idea how much APR has grown since I left Auburn. I followed a link on ebay to their website and saw the new location. Holy crap.....definately nice.

I live in Mobile. The car at one time made 615+ rwhp on pump gas but was short lived. Popped a ringland the day after I dynod it while racing a twin turbo viper. I put another stock longblock in and it made 550+ rwhp and ran consistant mid 10's @ 135 or so for the past 2.5 years. A rod bolt let go on me on the way to the track a couple months ago so I'm in the process of building a motor this time to go back in it. Looking for around 700 or so rwhp and hopefully get around the mid 9's @ 145-150 mph. We'll see.

I don't know if you were around Auburn in 1996-1997 but if you were, this is Walker Morgan's old car. I bought it from him in 2000.

To the OP: Back at the open house I took the tour with Ted (vman932) and I think he asked something about it.
His question was a little more vague though...something along the lines of, "Would you guys consider developing a one-off turbo kit/tune for anything besides a VAG car...say a Toyota? Money isn't a huge issue if the product is right." (Ted, correct me if I'm wrong here ;) ) IIRC, Keith said it was very doubtful because it would take away from development of the "bread and butter" VAG turbo products for all of the new turbo engines.

However, you're probably right about the success that particular platform would bring.

Diversify slowly, make sure your core product is right first. That's good business.

Man it would be something else. Shiv waltzes around on the 335 boards and dazzles the common lay-person with techy BS. He'd stand no chance if APR hopped on the N54 train. I'd love to watch it :)
