I'm selling a 2003 Explorer rear chunk (IRS). Not sure how similar it is to the 03 Cobra, but they are both 31 spline 8.8" rearends in aluminum housings. It has 3000 miles on it, with real minor bearing noise.
Anyway, the 'guts' will bolt into any Mustang 8.8 and with some aftermarket 31 spline axles you've got a stout machine. You'll be replacing the bearings to swap it anyway, so you've got a really slightly used traction-lok and gearset. 3.73:1 ratio
Will sell the whole sealed unit for $175, or may part out. Can arrange a deal on installation if you can bring the car to Auburn.
