:P
If I can get my cars stupid bogging problem figured out (bad gas, clogged fuel filter, or something stupid  ), it back on the dyno for some more tuning, and get off work Saturday I think I might try to head up to hang out and hit the track. I'll keep you guys updated.

If you are talking about MMP, you might want to check in to seeing if they are open. I heard on the radio last night that they are having some 2 day concert event out there :?

Yeah I know, sorry. :P
Just got done draining the car of 6 gallons of gas. My disposal method consisted of me dumping it in the yard. I should be able to fill her up tommorrow then change the plugs and maybe the fuel filter. Should be good to go after that.

Bad gas crapped out my injectors  . Having it towed to the dealership monday for repair. 100k mi warranty is fixing to come in handy (they are paying for towing as well :) ).

How do you know it's your injectors?

Well I've narrowed it down and there is not much else it could be. Bad gas has most likely caused the injectors to be stuck open, which would account for the bogging. Also when I pulled my plugs they were pretty much soaked black meaning the car is getting alot more fuel than it should be.

How'd you narrow it down? lots of things could cause your injectors to stay open (look at what controls them). Plus, Hondas are well known for ignition problems and that can account for soaked plugs.
I don't see how bad gas makes injectors stick either :?:

Did you change the injectors around and see if you throw the codes for the other cylinders misfiring?

Well I checked the cam gear timing, made sure my intake wasn't clogged, unhooked the exhaust for the same reason, just replaced distributor cap, rotor button, plug wires, and plugs. Then I added some heet to the gas that was in the tank, ran the car for a little longer, then drained the gas, replaced with some more, changed the fuel filter and the plugs again.
I found out one of the places were I get gas has always had problems (everyone knew except me), they are right next to a creek and with all the rain it floods into the gas station parking lot. Apparently their tanks are pretty crappy. I'm figuring some trash or something has worked its way through.
Even if it wasn't bad gas it still looks like my injectors. I'd rather check the small stuff first then just taking it strait off to the dealer for warranty work, especially when I have a general idea of what it could be. :P

Well injectors aren't one part. You generally won't see them all go bad, and injectors in general are pretty robust. If all your plugs are fuel soaked, its not the injectors. If its on the fuel side, MAP sensor or other ECU input. But I'd bet on coil or ignitor.

Really I thought I just had one big injector in the throttle body.
The number 1 and 3 cylinders are the only ones throwing misfire codes. I've had the coil crap out on me before and it didn't act like this. Whatever it is it happened while the car was sitting still for two days. I'm wondering if a stupid rat didn't chew something up. We'll just have to see, but like I said my moms car had problems too after filling at the same station and its happened before, so there is a good chance of bad gas being involved.
