I think/am pretty sure that my right front coilover has bit the dust. I am going to go ahead and just redo the suspension setup because the one on there now sucks. I am between two setups and just wanted some input:
Koni Yellows w/ GroundControl Coilover
Eibach Pro-System Kit with springs.
Any thoughts or input on either system?

Not a fan of ground control...the ones I had on my SRT4 were harsh.
I will be putting Eibach springs and Tokico HPs on the supra...so I vote for the Eibach setup...or sell the car and get something more fun.

Really? Your bike was paid of within the first couple of months of ownership? How'd you pull that one out?

Trust me i want to, its like every month a new porblem occurs. It has become more of a project/troubleshooting car than a daily driver.

I am guessing a check was written to the lien holder...or the item was paid for in full when purchased and not financed. :dropit:

Smart ass; I know the process. When I was talking to Will about bikes months ago he said he was taking out a loan and I was under the impression that he would be paying it off over time (more than a couple of months) because he said he couldn't afford X bike or Y bike for what ever reason. So, I was suprised when he said it was paid off was all. Maybe I made an ass-umption that was wrong but either way my advice was solid if it applied.

Sean you are correct, i was going to get a loan for the bike intially and did through the suzuki credit card which is run by hsbc bank. About 2 weeks ago i got an email stating that hsbc was closing down the suzuki credit card and that my rate was going to jump by almost 11%. So i asked my grandfather if i could dip into my savings since i had never touched it and he said yes. So i am paying my savings account back at my own pace and not having to worry about all the interest crap or having to deal with that bank. Sooo yeah.

Ok, that does make more sense. I would then recommend paying back your savings rather than sinking more money into the Si; especially since it is a rebuilt wreck. :D

I agree completely with you on that. I havent spent anything on it but gas and oil. So i am contemplating just doing some type of cheap shock and spring package and just call it a day. I know its you shawn, no one else on here has an RR, i may here soon but we will see.

This thread ftl.
Anyways don't get ground-controls, just get springs or a real coil-over setup. I'm guessing that a real Civic forum would know of the best setup, not here.

Though Phil has said that they were a little harsh for his taste, I've heard nothing but good things out of the FD guys for Koni Yellows + GC. I know it differs for every car, so YMMV.

there are two ways to order the koni/GC setup. you can either order what they reccomend. or you can choose your own spring rate based on what rate the oe are and other reccomended coilover rates are.

Eh, too many honda/civic forums are nothing but fanboys about the newest and greatest. "HEY GO GET THE 32 WAY ADJUSTABLE SUPER STIFF COILOVERS FOR THE STREET!!!!!" I just want something that is somewhat adjustable and that is comfortable on the street.

If they are better than other stock Civics I'd imagine people charge a premium for them on the forums.. unfortunately. Even a used aftermarket setup would probably barely be more, and perform barely better. =P
