Who wants to go shoot off of LOWER WETUMPKA RD near MONTGOMERY or Drive to tuskegee...?

Questions...Can I get a range pass from a gun shop in MONTGOMERY/PRATTVILLE for the tuskegee range?

IF NOT...can someone in AUBURN get the RANGE PASS FOR ME?

I say lunch before range. If you don't want to do that, I'll eat on the way up there. I plan to be shooting for a few hours, screw eating at 2pm. The fat man is hungry.

EDIT: I'm bringing the XD-45 (.45 Auto), Marlin 60 (.22LR), Harrington and Richardson 20 ga (20 ga shells), and an Echasa pistol (.22LR) if you'd like to shoot any of my guns. Winchester White Box or CCI Blazer Brass for the XD only, please.

CCI Blazer Brass would be cheaper. It's $15 per 50 rounds at Wally World, $18 at Walter Craig. WWB is $30 per 100 at Wally World when you can find it. I don't mind anybody putting as many rounds through this gun as they can afford. I'm trying to get it good and broken in. I've put 275 rounds through it so far, and I plan to put another 100 through it Sunday.

I warn you, when you shoot it, you'll want your own. :D

If you don't know the way and need someone to follow, or need a ride, show up or shoot me a PM. The Saturn isn't the most cushy ride, and you have to like death metal, but hey, it's a free ride. :D

Wanted to say that I had a bunch of fun with everyone today. Glad that all who shot the XD enjoyed it. I enjoyed shooting the M&P Cliff! Wish that I had thought to shoot a few rounds through someone's AR and John's DW 1911. Those were two guns I had wanted to shoot.

We had so much of an arsenal there that the forest started to shoot back at us! :D I think we scared it more though!

The XD does feel a lot better now that it's had 200 more rounds through it, especially the trigger. Everything looks more rounded on the inside of the gun now, like it's supposed to. Thanks to all the guys who bought ammo to run through it today.

Here's my best target of the day. The bull is mine, and 90% of the shots inside the black are mine. Notice the two tight groups at 7 'o'clock and 2 'o' clock. I hope to start shooting 2" groups at 10 yards, and 3" groups at 25 yards soon with this pistol. All the dry firing has definitely helped my marksmanship with it. I think that any aggressor within 10 yards of me would be good and dead! :D I'll be back out at the range soon working on my groups.

Yeah I'll be fine. We tried to get it to close up without stitches, but it just kept coming open. ER guy had me fixed up no prob and they will come out in a week. What are the specs on that particular gun? I have gun toting friends who want to know what did the damage lol

you shot a savage 300 win mag:bfg: with a hornady 180 grain bullet. the 300 win mag is primarily used to hunt elk, elephant, bear and other big game. i'm glad you are ok, you took that shit like a man and thats cool. you had a big smile even with blood running down your face. ............ah, lesson learned. i had a great time even though we got forced out by fire and surprise ammo. there were some serious fire arms out there.

Sorry I didn't run into you guys out there; I hit the range around 12pm (trying to beat the crowd) and was there until about 1:30. I wasn't having a good day at the range, everything I had kept jamming, the 1911 is FUBAR right now, and when the flames got to about the 20yd line I figured that it was good enough so I packed it up and left. I ran into Allen and Nick after the fact and it would appear I missed a pretty good time; too bad I didn't get to see Dan catch the gun in the face (or how ever it happened).
