May be a little crowded, so I'll be there early. My friend Andrew (the Mary Kay Civic) will be trying out his new wheels/tires. I'd like to see him in the 13's.
Hope to see you guys/girls there.

Crap, I wanna go, but that is a 2 hour drive or more. I think everyone is leaving AU, so there wouldn't be anyone to stay with. UGH!

Rob and I will probably make it out there around 8. Mike, Rob is looking forward to some more runs down the strip.
Why is it going to be crowded? Is there a big even the next day?

Points race this weekend. Sometimes this means buttloads of trailered in cars will show. Not necessarily the case, but it would be wise to get there early to guarantee some quick runs.

Ay does anyone have one of those Air pump thingy that u plug in the cig adapter??Could anyone bring one if they got one???
I got a new best 15.533 with full interior. might have been able to pull a 15.4 if I got rid of the passenger seat.
At the track, I asked this guy with a 4g prelude with a wing and all that to run me, very casually of course. The fate of the world didnt depend on me running this guy, but basically asked him because he was one of the few cars that was comparable to mine. He starts kinda weird, like saying 'Why do you want to run ME?' and saying 'that 240 is stock. suuuuuure'. weirdo. Anyway, he agrees to run me which is great because i would have been emotionally scarred if he said no.
So, after agreeing to run, he disappears for like 20 minutes, and im still at my car, cooling down my IM waiting for him. He says 'You waiting on me?' and i said 'yeah', so he said 'ok, lets go' and so i started driving to the line-up... didnt see him, so i waited near the end of the line for another 10 minutes. Here he comes, followed by his ricer friend, who was like 40 years old  and had a zebra-looking crx.
So, they drive past me and i get behind them. The guy looks over to me, points to his zebra friend and says 'Im gonna run him instead, i'll run you next time. So, at this point i've wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to run this guy, and he fucking pusses out at the last second, so I ran somebody else. I think i ran mike that time.
So, After i pick up my time slip, i notice him intentionally hiding his car behind some other cars at the total opposite side of the track. Now im just plain pissed, so i stalk my prey and wait for him to get in line again. I follow. Pusses out YET AGAIN!!!
I end up running another 240, totally miss 3rd gear yet beat him by 2.5 seconds. lol
Anyways, I leave the track after that run, and about 10 minutes down I-85 i see someone is in the hazard lane with lights flashing. Guess who? Yep...riceboy and his dad. I pulled over and let him borrow my flashlight to fix a wheel-liner problem. Bet he feels like a major douchebag now.

I used to try to pair up against other people (prey), but it's usually a waste of time. I'll race anyone these days, even if I know I'll be beaten. At least when I get beat, it fuels my desire to go find another way to make my car a little quicker.
240's have a lot of potential (i.e.: engine swaps, LSD, popularity of aftermarket parts), so you have an open road in front of you. Most of the ones I see are riced-out; that should give you a reason to build a mean sleeper.

I love my 240. Its got an (i think) electrical problem right now that causes the car to idle real rough and the entire electrical system will shut down after turning the car off. Im thinking its a bad relay. I've got 80% of the parts i need to turbocharge it, including a wideband setup.
Keeping the stock body panels, wheels, and even painting the intercooler to match the car today, and hopefully have it mounted early next week so i can go ahead and start planning the piping while i save up some dough for a manifold, wg, and oil lines. Thinking of keeping the stock, falling apart muffler there as a dummy muffler. (wont be hooked up at all thouhg..just there for looks). ;)
I found a guy who i can supposedly get a JDM VLSD in ATL for $250-$300. Its definitly very high on my list.

Back in the day I used to try to pair up w/ people, but now a days when I'm at the track, its to try to figure out something, or to tune, so I don't care who I race, I'm on the track for me myself and I. Guess I can say I usually win anways.
