Obviously has rust on the hood and a blemish spot on the roof. What do you think. He is asking $2500, I told him $2k and he said that would work. $2k still seems like a lot. What do you think, how hard would it be to replace that hood? I am getting the vin hopefully pretty soon and I asked him if any of the other areas are rusted. We will find out.

Hoods have 4 bolts. I would get a eg hatch for that much.

Maybe I am not looking in the right places....but I have not seen an EG hatch come CLOSE to $2k yet. And I have checked autotrader for Atlanta and H-T. Cheapest EG hatch I have found to date was a 92 with 160,000 miles and he wanted $3700 firm. Then I found one on H-T that was for $3k, but he was in Louisiana and it is over an 8hr drive to get there and the car didn't even look that great. I talked to the owner, he said this CRX had been in storage from the guy he bought it from, the paint had chipped in there and thats why there is rust. He said there is one other rust spot near the door and that that is the only other spot. I am going to go look at it this weekend since he lives near me.

Yea I'm with Frosty on this one....2 G's for a CRX like that is a lil too much. But with the hood...by the time u get a new one or repaint it...u could have gotten a C/F hood.
I think my bro knows the guy selling the CRX b/c he knows most of the guys on the site "SweetcarZ". O yea one more thing...U might be able to find a hatch for 2 but its going to be hard. Now that I think about it I think I have a buddy selling his for like 2-2,500$. If you want let me know if ur serious about it.

I just remembered theres a guy in bham that is selling his eg hatch for 2800 obo. I was thinkin about getting it if I can't get a loan.

Well freaking A man, why not tell me about your buddies selling for cheap. Steven so far is getting me setup with his buddy, but let me know when you see other good deals out there.

The CRX is no longer in contention. I have much better options now.
