I'm going out to MMP Friday to test the new nitrous setup ( 75 shot ). I'll be on street tires though, so I'm only expecting mid/high 11's.
Anybody else planning on going? I'll let anybody have a crack at the Camaro that wants one.

I'll be out there if the weather is good. Reckon I'll give it the ol college try one more time before condemning the transmission to rebuildage.
Hope all of yall lay down some sick nasty times!

Is this still going down in spite of the weather being shitty (at least as of this morning)? I'm thinking I might bring my heap out if I can afford the time.

Ran my car tonight with 93 octane and meth injection while running a map that produces about 1psi more boost. It was 79 degrees with 80% humidity, but I am pleased with the results.
60' --- 1.863
330' -- 5.256
1/8 --- 8.005
MPH -- 90.11
1/4 --- 12.272
MPH -- 114.79

Best run for me.
This was full weight ( for me anyway, about 100 lbs heavier than usual ), none of my typical tricks. All that lost me at least 3 tenths.
This was on a 100 shot that I'm still convinced was a little rich...
1.914
5.055
7.689 @ 93.95 ( fastest trap in the 1/8th mile ever, previous best was 92.3 or so )
11.891 @ 115.39
All this in really shitty air. ( DA calculated out to be 1589 ft, both my previous bests were in -DA )
I'm happy. :D

Yes. :D
The car ran a best of 12.6 @ 108 NA last night, so that's .8 sec and 7 mph improvement over that with a slightly worse 60'.
Keep in mind these passes were in street trim, lacking my usual tricks. The 60' was 1.914 as well. My previous DR best 60' was 1.5. If I had that low of a 60 on that 11.8 run, I'd be looking at 11.2x or better, in shitty summer air, and again, this is how I drive the car every day, not like I drive it during race season.
So, 10's in good air on a tire is perfectly reasonable.

Ah ok that makes MUCH more sense now. I was just going off your current listed times in your sig and your most recent times. 0.8 and 7mph is a sweet gain!

So you're saying I should be thrilled that I trapped 94.x in the 1/8th and 118.x in the 1/4? I'm not really buying it, but whatever works. Your nitrous setup is too complicated for your own good. shoulda gotten a button and let it ride :-P :bubbrubb:

Hey, I finally got everything figured out! It's not actually complicated. I was just MAKING it complicated. :D
What was your best ET btw? You left before I could ask.

11.9 before shedding intercooler piping again. :bfg:
Hair spray on the inside of the silicon couplers + your typical band clamp and you won't be shedding anything.

Hair spray + PVC piping + grill igniter = long distance airborne potato

using t-bolts. nothing holds this particular coupler on, and if you saw it you would be curious how it would even go about coming off. There is a solution in the works that should solve the issue.
This is also true. My old neighbor built a potatoe cannon and that SOB would launch those M-F'ers like no other.

You could always weld a threaded dowel onto the charge pipes on either side of the coupler and then connect the 2 dowels togther by bolting on a strip of aluminum or your choice of metal. This along with your usual t-clamps should be addequate.
