That is one hell of a sweet setup. I like how the rear part of the rear quarter panels came out, just not the front part of them. Still totally awesome work.

That is HEINOUS looking. He wants to run 250mph with a car with a ton of bodywork without any thought to aerodynamics. It looks like a 12 year old put a bunch of parts together to make his "dream car" and picked the paint out from his favorite hot wheels.

Besides that, 1500hp RX-7s are neat.

The rear fenders are very Shelby-ish shaped

That dude is on 6speedonline. He needs to run 247 to break the 246mph record (SW in his Supra), not 242. I don't believe the RX7 is going to be the best choice for the mile aero wise. The Supra seems as if it were just built to do the mile. The gearing on the 6-speed is perfect with a tire. 5th runs out at 255mph at 9500rpm. Shifting into 6th is killing their mph.

The TT Gallardos got closer than anybody has so far, they hit 241mph this weekend. 1500whp with AWD.

I don't see that car going 250+ It has the power and weight but I don't think it has the weight advantage. I don't like the color, hood, body work, or the huge rear flares. There is no doubt he has some awesome parts accumulated for his project. Does it not seem odd that everyone I have seem that is competing at the Texas Mile has a turbo car? I don't see how he will hook with the torque of a 427 cube motor plus the added instant (or more instant than a large turbo) spool of that Procharger. I think traction will be his biggest enemy given his power to weight and method he used to make his power.

And again...I just don't see how throwing on those giant flares aren't going to kill him above 200 aero-wise...
