You guys ever heard of this stuff? Its basically made for cleaning carbon build up and stuff. I ran about half a bottle thru the brake booster hose and let it do its thing. I can definitly feel a difference and its not the placebo effect. $6/can at NAPA. You can also use it as an oil additive if you are going to change the oil soon and also as a fuel additive to clean injectors.

The preludeonline.com people swear by it and now its a big thing on NICO, so i decided to finally try it. It probably wont do anything for you if your car has <100k, but it definitly does something for higher miles motors

Did you smoke out the neighborhood?

It works well for removing carbon, but its nothing special just a basic solvent. I think the BG or other proffesional stuff is better but it is more expensive, and it doesn't smoke as well either. ;)

I tried it last year on the Supra and an '85 Golf.

The Supra emitted a white vapor for a few minutes; that's a clear sign of a clean combustion chamber.

On the other hand, the Golf ran like a crack-whore with emphysema. Much backfiring, stuttering, and black to gray smoke - for about 20 minutes

Jess, I'll never look at a dolphin the same way again. That's one freaky avatar.

Not sure why, but it reminds me of Flipper as one of Jerry's Kids.
