Surprised no thread about this.

Was an excellent game and our boys almost pulled it off. They played hard and it was awesome to watch.

Major props to Ryan Miller-MVP of the Tournament.

that was was really disappointing but the guys played a GREAT game. it was really fun to watch. suck we couldn't get the gold.

side note. what did you think about the canadian womens hockey team after party lol. i can't blame them i mean they won a gold medal. come on you can't celebrate? i understand both sides of it but it shouldn't have been such a big deal as EVERYONE knows what happens in that locker room after a championship and there are ALWAYS cameras in there showing it to the world

If I cared about hockey, I might have made a thread but I don't. The Lakers/Nuggets game got very interesting.

Good on the US for competing though.

The problem is that they weren't doing it in the locker room, or out on the streets. They were doing it on the ice DURING the medal presentation.

oh really? from what i saw it was over and they had been celebrating in the locker room after the ceremony and they came back out on the ice after all of that and some people were still there to catch them.

No they did it on the ice. Its also a big story because some of the girls on the team werent 21. At least one was 18 iirc.

Drinking age in British Columbia is 19.

Who the fuck cares. Thank god they didn't take their tops off like the soccer team a few years ago. No telling what you would have seen.

I honestly never understood what the big deal was about that. It wasn't offensive, or obscene but people certainly went apeshit about it.:omg:
