I gotta wash some clothes, but if I get done it time I would love to ride with Clint. :D I'll prolly run at that track again when it is a sunny day, freezing cold temps, and having heard the track's been hooking for 5 weekends in a row. :shock: Lately, it just seems like MMP just isn't worth it (watch the track be excellent this weekend after I made this rant :lol: ).

O yea...had to add this...while yall are in Auburn or wateva...I'll be in Kali for a wedding and then spending the day at my cuzzin shop. He has a NSX with a full mugen c/f body kit,balanced and blueprinted motor(he says its bulletproof) and 100 shot of NOS or NAWS :lol: just for fun. He said he might have a lil suprise for me by the time I get over there but I dont think he gotten it yet or installed yet. Just thought yall would like to know wat I get to drive while I'm over there. :D

Hey, Donny, I tried those slicks out. They fit nice and seem to have plenty of rubber left. I would like to try them at the track though. I think I might go to Steele tonight since it is so close to my house to test these bad boys out. I'll let you know how it goes, but, as of now, it looks like I might buy them from ya. Thanks again! i might end up going to midnight madness in hsv instead of montgomery. Im gonna have alot of junk in my car I gotta take home, and i cant leave it in the parking lot.

It's pretty sad when slicks are a prerequisite for traction. It's the only way I can guarantee a decent launch.

Well, I tried your slicks at Steele, Donny, and..........I ran slower. I started with the slicks at 14psi, and ran a 13.9 @ 106.??. I thought it was my launch, so I lowered the pressure more, and sidestepped the clutch @ 7k rpms. I spun again, but instead of running a 2.4 60 foot, I pulled a 2.27 60 foot that yielded a 13.7 @ 105.6 :shock: . I heated the tires up fine, but it was the fact that the slicks being road race slicks that hendered me instead of helping me. I kept dropping the tire pressure hoping they would wrinkle, but because of the stiff sidewall, they never did. Also, I'm sure the heavy rims they are mounted on didn't help either. I could bring them with me to give back to you if we go to the track again, or if you come to AU again, they are in my apartment. Oh well.......
