Well, it been about a week since my intro thread, and since the mild flaming I do believe it is time the Ricing Nismo stripes to come off.... Id like to get these off in one night as I dont want to drive around with partial stickers and look even more ridiculous than I do now. lol. Seeing as how i have had many verbal offers to help with removal, I am giving you all your chance to rid me if my riceyness.

lol. nice. well they should be really easy to take off man. use a hair dryer to heat them up and it should come right off.

Shouldn't be that bad, just get a little heat in them and peel slowly. Then spend a couple of hours with a microfiber and some goo gone. Don't use paper towels (shudder) they'll scratch your paint. Clean the area with instant detailer to get rid of all the goo gone when done and apply a coat of your favorite wax.

What about if the decals were made out of really bad material and when they come off they break apart? What about using an eraser wheel on a very slow speed drill? When I went to remove the GOD awful pinstriping on the dually I had to get an eraser wheel.

...or just man up and use a razor blade or steel brush cup + your favorite drill

Goo Gone is good, 3M makes an adhesive remover that is better IMO. Used it to remove stripes from a Tacoma and my Pilot. You should be able to pick up the 3M stuff at Wally world or a car parts store. I looked in my stash, but I think I used all mine up.

What day/time you thinking about working on getting them removed? Have you searched around to see if these stripes come off fairly easy or if they are a PITA?

Dont think they will be too, hard. they have only been there for two years. Not sure if quality of the vinyl is an issue, but they are genuine nissan nismo decals.
