isn't that what the misc. forum is for to post about off topic. i didn't see it getting out of hand or anything. i just thought it was good conversation. you guys have had topics on scar before and i don't remember those getting locked. besides he would never come over here and finish the discussion, and i really want to know what the bullshit was so we can confront it. i hate BS just as much as the next person and i like to confront it. :D

Well it was a judgement call. I like our forum to be not gay. Just because it is Misc, doesn't mean anyone can go and start stupid meaningless posts. I figured SCAR or aSpeed or whatever would appreciate the topic being closed. But that wasn't why I closed it. I closed it ebcause it was stupid, and everyone from over here was starting to get worked up about it, so pretty soon it'd be a 3 page post about nothing to do with AERC.

Ya'll need to figure out, that a message board doesn't have to be a free-for-all. it's the AERC message board. So if something is stupid, and has nothing to do with our club, I close it.

Ya say that there were other SCAR threads that weren't locked, well that has nothing to do with any of this. The fact that it was locked had nothing to do with the club, it had everything do do with the possibility of a whore-post without any AERC members being involved. Everyone from over here was confronting the post, and like Tyler said, it's better off here because it's got nothing to do with us.
