honestly not trying to start anything i am just VERY curious. i don't think i have ever heard anyone say this besides die hard ford fans that hate it just because its not ford which i know you are not lol. what is it your not a fan of? serious question here.

I just never have much cared for a Vette. I do like the C5 and C6 Z06 though(which will probably be my next car that or a notch) Maybe it is the type people that own them, or the fact that for the longest time a Camaro is almost as quick as a Vette and it has a back seat. Just like I hate all Ford Mustangs.....except an 03-04 Cobra or a Notch

Don't look at just the pictures, look at the suspension, the motor.....GOD yes the motor and it's injection, the body mods. That is a very high end build it seems.

The only model older than a C5 I would own would be the C4 Grand Sport or the ZR1. Any Vette past that I don't much care for the styling. For instance the Stingray (C2 I guess) I can appreciate them but I would never see myself owning one. I however would love a black C5Z with torch red interior and a nice PD blower on it and a poked and stroked LS3. Just like I am not an import guy, I don't worship at the alter of Skyline's or Supras but I can respect and fully appreciate the amount of work and technology that goes into them. I guess that just makes me an automotive enthusiast.

Stingray was C3. I've always loved the '63 split window (which would be the C2 body style) but not the C1 (well, except for the one you posted) or the C3; but that is just my opinion. Other than that, I liked the C4 with the Greenwood body package as well as the ZR1 but the C5 and C6 are awesome too.

Stingray was a C2; they continued the name to the C3 body but at least in my opinion, it only applies to the C2.

I can't say I care for the 'look' of the vette in the original post, but it is a nice build.
