But you can just call me Dan.
How come I've never known this stuff existed? I've been here 4 years. Tonight was my first time to the garage and I met a few of you.
Here's my Focus.

Thanks. It's actually lowered lol. Koni springs and yellows.

1998 designed by Ford Europe (the Ford that makes better cars than ours) and brought to America for the 2000 model year, built in Hermosillo, Mexico. We actually get the one on the global platform again now (almost euro) after Ford America using the same old chassis on these things for 10 years. The new one uses the C1 similar to the Mazda 3 but looks kind of like a Toyota Venza.
And I don't need disclaimers, this is the internet after all.:tard:

I've toyed with lowering it more but I kinda like my suspension travel. Maybe I'll find some cheap springs and try it someday, but the one on there is supposed to be a 1.6" drop. I never measured before and after. I love the setup though, it's comfy if it's set soft and the yellows are firm as shit when you want them to be.

Welcome to Aspeed. I saw your car at the meet didn't get to meet ya tho. From what I've read you sounds alright but I'll be sure to judge you harshly and unfairly at the next meet.
BTW my car runs low 9's.

Dont worry much about it. Theres looks, theres performance, and then theres a mixture of the two. Veedub is just basically interested in looks. If you auto-x somewhat regularly and enjoy a somewhat competitive suspension set-up(or atleast maximizing what you have), alittle wheel gap/travel is necessary.
Oh and we just fuck with retards who join the boards. So if you dont poop your pants, can feed yourself, and are interested in cars...welcome! JDMZ32 that rules you out though boss man. Pce. :(

Yep. I moved really close to downtown so I don't really drive the car much any more except to work.
I would like to try a new set of springs given the opportunity. I'm not happy with the gap but I love everything else. The Koni stuff handles really well but I haven't experimented much, dunno if a higher spring rate would help me. I'm on stock sway bars though and it's a dream if you set the yellows just right. If I had the dough I'd probably be on a set of Ksport coilovers to give me something else to play with.
Oh and I run a 215/40/17 instead of a 45 because they are cheaper and I'm poor. The Azenis I just wore out had a reinforced sidewall in that size. I really miss those.
Oh and, what if I do poop my pants? :(

Kumho Ecsta SPT (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=Ecsta+SPT&partnum=145WR7KU31XLOLD&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes) in 215/45/17, $65/tire. It's also the OEM tire on tC's, so you should be able to browse some of the tC forums like scionlife.com or yoursciontc.com and find slightly used tires for a good price.

You need the 45's. That's why your car looks like a 4x4. When I bought my wheels they had 215/40s on them and I couldn't figure out why it looked like hell even after I lowered it. Then I bought the right size tire. It doesn't look slammed of cours but it looks a lot better. It rides a lot nicer too.
Stock tire size on the SVT:
