So with all of the blah blah FINALLY coming out after EVERYONE IN THE WORLD knew half of the 2004 USC team was getting paid....i think they will eventually strip usc of the championship and reggie of the heisman. which leaves the question, will they crown a new champion or leave in N/A?

Many articles have been written about giving it to the deserving Tigers and said if it was left to a vote the general thought is that auburn would be awarded the title. the bad part about all of this is that lames would still say we didn't win the title that year. if they did award us the title, i would accept and be happy about it but it still pisses me off that we weren't able to play in the title game which was the worst lop sided title game EVER. OK didn't deserve it...period.

just wondering what your thoughts are on the topic. should we receive the title or no?

Flat out award the title to Auburn? No. And if they did it would be stupid and the exact same thing most Auburn fans rip on Bama fans for. Retroactive titles are worthless. I would be happiest with a vacated title but if they gave a split title to Auburn/Oklahoma I would be less angry.

I do think that Vince Young should be given the 2005 Heisman though. Which no one is talking about.

i would definitely be ecstatic if they gave us the NC, as i'm sure all of auburn fans would. i don't really care how we got it, its still a NC!

no matter how Alabama counts there NC's (what, they have like 7ish outright?), they still have a LOT and that says something. We should be happy to accept the title. all taht being said, i do not believe they will award us the NC.

...and yea, 2004 was such a letdown for such a great team. great to be at auburn during that season, i miss it!
