The report shows average low level amounts of Arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury in a variety of Whey brands.

of course these are perceived as lethal and harmful in certain doses. Assuming this is accurate Im curious on the effects of consistent exposure to these levels of the mentioned elements.

Could just be they are so small, they are easily metabolized and pose no risk. Then again, I understand Cadmium and arsenic have a cumulative effect, with cadmium not common.. if existent in nature.

In either case ill stick with ON whey which ranks among the lowest :-/ 0.83µg per serving averaged among the test samples.

I would say "no big deal". because we usually eat a fair bit of arsenic daily..but some people consume a lot of whey. so several servings a day might put some a bit over the mark combined with normal diet.

Their tests were 3 "2 scoop" servings a day. 6 scoops a day. That is a shit ton of whey. I never take more then 2 scoops a day. My normal post workout is 1 scoop. On legs or just a hard workout 2 scoops.

Wouldnt pay to much attention to this unless you have one of the proteins that is one of the extremes.
