If you're going to do something like that, DON'T TAKE VIDEO OF IT! AND DON'T PUT IT ON THE INTERNET! And sure as hell don't post up about doing it on a car forum.

That way you can't bitch if someone mentions a name in a joking manner.

Well, let me clarify my post; I figured it was just a video Justin had found on the net and was joking earlier in my reference (there is more than one person in Mexico with a Busa; or so I thought). I figured Nstig8r's response was a joke to me as that is something I did to TheWill some time ago. However, due to the possibility, I edited my post. I really don't think there was a legitimate connection that would be credible.

For the record, the said perpetrator in the videos name was mentioned by someone on here. What he did could potentially land him in jail... This is a PUBLIC forum, and I don't think it is cool for someone to name names when it could lead to their incarceration...

I understand what you're saying and agree with your point. In most cases, it would be a viable concern; however, regardless of what name any individual mentions here or elsewhere, there is no way to connect it to any individual as there is nothing identifying about the bike, rider, or location in the video. All we can tell is that it was video taped on a Busa. For all we know, Bob got on John's Busa that he stole from Habib and made the video in Afghanistan while going AWOL from the Army and edited it to make it seem like he did something 'cool'. I think the biggest risk anyone faces is having said video on their You Tube account and being asked about where/how they got it. I'd recommend that the poster remove it from there to prevent getting hassled by the five-o internet trolls as that would make the most sense to me in a public e-place like You Tube. On the other hand, I could be making too many assumptions about the video and a lack of quality in police investigations which would make your concerns much more reasonable; but, if I was on a jury looking at the video and that was all I had, I couldn't convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt off of it; there just isn't enough information.

Honestly I am a big fan of the fact that the "uncoolness" of possibly/attempting-to/whatever-it-doesn't-actually-matter revealing the rider's identity overrides the utter stupidity of posting that video here
