ATL SOLO Auto-x Schedule...

Well, ive never actually paid attention to a full auto-x schedule. I like setting up my car for various stuff, and even though i wont be competitive in the class im going to be placed in, its still going to be fun placing my times against other cars present and trying to build a decent running tally of points(half of the race is just attending all of the points series).

Here is the schedule, works out to $25 an auto-x with season pass or $35 per event. Bolded are the ones i plan on attending/part of the season pass and points series(except for the TNT).



We have a great season this year with a lot of special events in addition to our 11 event schedule (not including TNT and driver schools). Below is a list of our events and the bottom will be a link to our season pass purchase...

I hear you man. I find it easier to see the full schedule and plan rather then "hey autox in 3 days, be there!" type thing.

Yeah it was fun for sure! I ended up with a 54.xx as my best time. I'm trying to find it online but I don't know if they post the times for Novices. It's funny, they say slow is fast.. well my best time was by far my most aggressive and squirrely run! I was all over the place in the slalom and then understeered all the way through the final turn lol. *sigh* I definitely have tons of improving to do but I'm ok with that for my first time trying. Was very fun for sure.

I just don't know if I can afford to go much while I'm still in school because I'm pretty broke status and that really ate up at my tires. But surely as I get better, it wont kill my tires as much.

I noticed a crack in the tie rod on Friday and when checking how bad it was, it snapped. Was unable to find a replacement part locally, so had to order it. Part got here on Monday and installed it the same night. Because of the tie rod I wasn't able to attend.

I look so slow in the video.. lol. Well, I am so slow. I think I need to go harder but I need a freaking diff! Whenever I went with a lot of throttle I just spun one rear tire.. so in the video it just looks like I am coasting around the entire time haha. Whatevs, I'll post it up soon.

The one thing I learned from this is that power is not really all that important unless you have some serious tires. The Hondas that have a smaller engine with less power and are lighter have a huge advantage because they can just go WOT the whole time.. and weigh less and have better distribution.
