lol yeah the bama nation is probably a little butthurt at the moment because they thought this 10 story was Auburn.
Yeah if you actually read the entire thing...it is INSANE. Booster paid for a stripper abortion for a player LOL WUT???

it's almost not as funny since it's at Da U, but intramural sports is probably all they'll be seeing for a while (if there's any shred of justice at all in the NCAA... so they'll just get a slap on the wrist)

2 of the coaches allegedly involved in that mess are now at Bama. Even if they are clean now looks bad on bama. Wonder if they will get the ax?
That is absolutely nuts. I read the entire article.

florida has one as well. I'd be more concerned about the players they were trying to recruit than the coaches, but I would not be surprised at all to see the coaches "resign to deal with the issues".
also, some of this came up last year shortly after alabama hired the coaches, they could possibly be in the clear. If there's any doubt though, they'll be history sooner than later.

This morning on ESPN it was reported that the allegations weren't done. Also read on this Nevin Shapiro and the Ponzi scheme he was running. He basically was selling people a 0 risk investment with a 26% rate of return. Buying groceries in cheaper areas and selling in a more expensive area. It amazes me that people blindly trust people with their life's work.
This story is fascinating from the top to the bottom. It'd make a good movie. It's got sports, strippers, sex parties, expensive trips to clubs and throwing money around like nothing. Sprinkle in corruption and an administrative cover up and you have a summer time block buster.

This is exactly what I said. I really want someone to make this a film. I can't wait for ESPN to do a 30 for 30 on this.
And yes, it was 930 mill scheme. I read yahoo's report on him. It was nuts. The guy is slim.

lol yeah but we want a REAL movie, Rated R and not created by Disney.

Interesting read and point of view. I would say he has a point and it definitely could be overblown on some accounts. Actually, I'm sure it's overblown on some accounts but the type of documentation and photos this guy has is hard to over look. Either way, it's a F'd up situation that you don't want to be in. A lot of the things he claimed would be hard to prove, others not so much.

Refreshing to read something so sharp and non PC. However, let's say half or on quarter of what was reported is true and can be proved. The price of paddles will surely rise in South Beach. Because they'll be up shit creek without one.

Some players have already admitted.

EDIT: Is is weird to you guys that these players will be eligible to play again after repaying the benefits? I think this is really really strange, lol. So now, basically anyone can except money and once/if they get caught, they can pay it back and play again instantly? WTF, lol.

8 total players suspended for a different number of games.

If that's the case how come Reggie Bush couldn't pay back and avoid the vacation of their wins and NC. I think these players got benefits less than a given amount. Isn't there an amount that if under they can repay? Like Ingram and Jones repaying a fishing trip

...or AJ Green repaying the money he made from HIS jersey.

Maybe that is true. I wonder what the maximum amount is that you can pay back?

Didn't Darius pay back 1800 or so from the agent party trip to Florida?
