Not to rain on your parade, but just because the NCAA team failed to gather enough evidence to present a case, doesn't mean everyone should eat crow and mail condolence letters to the Newtons.

Also, before an attack is made back at me, all along I was hoping the rumors were not true.

NCAA conducted 80 different interviews and didn't find SHIT. Not even a secondary violation from this entire investigation! All the while many fucking idiot bammers and "journalist" were waiting, praying, and telling the world that the banhammer was going hit to hit sooooo soon.

They didn't gather evidence of any wrong doing anywhere in Auburn's program at all. In over a year of investigation. There is a shit ton of crow to be eaten by a whole host of people from toothless redneck bammers to people on national TV shows every night.

This is great news for AU, however there will ALWAYS be a cloud over their National Championship because of this investigation. Even though they found nothing at all, it has still tarnished it beyond repair (IMO).

So in the end, as wrong as all the bammers (and media) were, they still succeeded in putting "" around the championship (in the eyes of the majority), which is COMPLETELY unfair for Auburn and their loyal fan-base, considering they did nothing wrong.

As a UGA fan, I congratulate you on the Championship and hope for the best, aside from once a year in November, lol.

I disagree with all of that. I don't think the championship was 'tarnished beyond repair' even BEFORE the investigation cleared AU. And definitely not after.

being far removed from Alabama, I've talked with the local Big10 fans around here about Auburn's championship several times, nobody has ever mentioned that it might be taken away or tarnished, even before this came out.

A 13 month investigation clearing AU can only make things better and as time goes on, the overblown media reports of the time will fade away since they've been proven false.

Well I hope for AU's sake, that's the case.

I just don't see it happening personally. However, time will tell!

Its kinda funny but outside of the state of Alabama no one really even knows about or pays any attention to the Cam Newton thing.. I have a friend that works for the Carolina Panthers team and I asked him about his thoughts on the Cam Newton scandal and he said "yea he shouldn't of taken that laptop.." I was like what about the stuff at Auburn.. He dident know anything about it.. I kinda thought that was funny..
