I ran a customers 3000GT last night. The results were little disapointing, but I end up with two 12.7s last night, both at 112MPH.

They break down as follows:
12.7 @ 112.8MPH
12.7 @ 112.9MPH

I have the car tuned very very conservatively right now. Those runs were without propane injection, full interior (we weighed it last night, 3743lbs), 20psi, 112 octane gas (blah), and launching easy.

I couldn't launch the car hard last night because of drivetrain issues, but hopefully I'll have that fixed by next Friday. So I was only running the car for trap speed.

Obviously the car has a lot more in it, but I didn't get a chance to run it that much and tune it last night. I'm happy with the fact that 20psi netted me 113 (almost) traps, but its going to only get much higher than that from here on out.:)

After I ran the car 5 times and couldn't break 14.5, I let Jerry go and run it. He ran a 14.1 and nex trun ran a 13.992@97.6 in the laser, then I not being able to take being outdriven in my own car(first for everything ) ran a 14.004@99.23 Granted Jerry only got to run the car twice, I didn't think I did to bad for the first night of racing a turbo awd. A few problems, for starters my 02 is bad, so its not getting a good mixture, i'm running 225/50 Dunlop sp8000's-too much grip for my power. Dump the cltuch at 6K and they hook and bog, so you just have to slip the shit out of the clutch since you can't spin them. Last and greatest problem-Carrier bearings (I think) are bad and I'm getting a bad vibration when launching and shifting hard giving the car false knock (40-50 counts each run) and pulling my timing at wot. Running 5-8* timing at wot when the shutter (false knock) kicks in. I datalogged almost every run. The weekend after next will be test in tune again and I'll be ready for it. These runs tonight were done running 17-18psi, next time I'm going 20, wich is plenty safe with race gas, but about all the stock 14b will do. Jerry pulled a best 60' of 1.983 and my best was 2.058 He believes that if I put the stock shitty tires on and spin through the 60 I should pull consistent 1.8's. That combined with the higher boost and get rid of the false knock and it will be a decent daily driver. Just wait till I get it back out there, times will be pretty impressive for the money spent, I still have less than $3K in the car including the price of the car, getting it running and the tranny and t-case I just had to buy. The clutch was the most expesnive mod yet, it was $415. $100 Exhuast, Free boost cotroller and $25 on a k&n. So 13's w/ retarded timing and $540 in mods, not bad eh?
