Got the job...finally.

I'm to report to the Mobile division of the FBI for work on monday. Currently going to be assigned to squad 5, which is cool because most support people aren't assigned to agent squads.

After 2 full background investigations and 2 different polygraph tests on top of more than a year of waiting its about time.

Now I can finally start doing some more serious stuff with the R :wink:

My dad bought me a S&W 9mm for Christmas. I don't know why, but he did. At least I'll have my own gun when I go to the firing range now.

I can't say exactly what I'll be doing, mainly because I don't know the specifics, but it will involve handling wire tapping accounts.

If you are going to bother having a gun get a 40 cal. I prefer the Glock but the Sheriff's Office won't let us carry anything smaller than a 40 cal. If you ever plan on using it you need the stopping power that a 9mm just can't provide.

I'll be staying at home and driving every day. On the days I don't have night class I can catch a ride with my mom to save on gas. I'm renting out our other house to pay for my insurance.
