this is a miracle worker fellas. i saw a thread on the tex the other day and decided to buy in and try it. if you are having cold start problems after getting the APR chip, then you should go to the dealership and buy a coolent temp. sender. there is a new sensor they came out with and it is green. it is amazing the difference it made in my car. i was having problems with cold start and my car was running alittle rough in the morning (very jumpy through rpm's). i put the new sensor in wednesday and since then my car has cranked up every time on the first attempt. the car runs much much smoother in the mornings and it idles better. MPG will also increase. anyways this is a must fellas, go get yours today!
PART NUMBERS:
059-919-501-A sensor $4.00
N-903-168-02 o-ring $2.00
032-121-142 clip $ 0.40
a temp sensor for $4?!?!? i bought a temp sensor and pigtail and it was $50 :(

Sweet deal, my car runs like a mangy dog on cold mornings. I bought one of those green senders from ecs tuning the other day along with a new thermostat. It cost me 20 bucks or so total.

I didn't think it had to be chipped to have cold start issues.... If it doesn't, will this work on non-chipped cars?

Kel, you were beside me in Fungomery over the weekend. You chirped your little HKS BOV at me a few times and then wouldn't look over ;)

heh heh...
kelli: i only had a problem when i got da chip. i thought it was only chipped cars but i could be wrong. you should go ahead and replace the sensor anyway. its always a good ideal. and its cheap.

I didn't know that was you... I was just happy to be driving it. I had to trade cars with my dad so I coulcd move all week.
Mike: How hard is it to change the sensors out? I'm not sure if it is only chipped cars. On cold mornings, it takes me awhile to crank it and once it is it runs a little rough.

yeah its sounds like yours is bad. just go to the dealer and give them the list of part numbers. they will hook you up. its very easy to change. took me about 3-4 minutes tops!

Mine has had trouble starting since I got the trial and it has obviously since ran out, but I'm off to Montgomery tomorrow to get this fixed. Sure hope it works.
