Aight I'm supposed to get my car back this weekend in working order (fingers crossed) and I was just informed that my coilovers SHOULD be arriving via UPS tomorrow. I'll be out of town this weekend... but I'm thinking any time next week is good for me.

Who can help and when?

Thanks!
John

since no one responded to you...good job!

i wish i could have stayed around a little longer to see how they looked once fully installed, but it was cold as crap and i was in shorts. i wanna see how slammed your car looks as well as how it rides. not that i am gunna get Teins, but i would at least like to dream about it.

Noo. SLAM the front and put the back up all the way. You're RWD so its allowable.

the back does need to be lifted up a little. it is actually hiding behind the fender. truly dumped as you said.

I'm going to raise the back up to 1 finger to match the front, or maybe not quite that much. Then get an alignment. I need to find out about that wheel stud problem though before I get the alignment.

Getting restuded will be around 60-80 bucks...cause LABOR is a BIOTCH...thats what it was on my parents rodeo(and that was the dealer charging 80$)WARRANTY  ...got in an invoice...didnt have to pay anything

as long as you dont scrape, especially over speed bumps, youll be ok.

Looks great!

How's the ride, bouncy or just really stiff?

its just really stiff...i've had the joy of driving this beauty...and i tell you, it's going to handle unbelievable when aligned and the camber is corrected (he's running something like 1 degree up front and 2 out back...not good)...but even like that the car sticks to the road incredibly, tein RULES.

Yeah, I figured I could do it myself... but I have no idea what's involved. I'll let you all take a look at the next meet.

Just use a BFH to change studs, if your afraid of hurting your hub then use a large c-clamp and a socket.
