What do you think of this new bling?

http://www.auburn.edu/~harrima/matts_car_with_gt1s.jpg

But seriously, they're about 5 pounds lighter per corner than my current wheels, and semi-forged as opposed to cast, which my current wheels are. Plus I think they'll look really agressive with the custom grille i'm making and the Reiger front bumper and S4 sideskirts that will be going on after Christmas. (oh, and the bodykit serves a function too, got to have room for the FMIC that will be going in once I have a place to put it. :D )

Looks really nice...

I guess my "non-performance" tastes differ a little...

I think a gun-metal or black would look a little better...

I a huge fan of the straight black look...
( Strip all badges, jet black, black rims, 5% tint all around)
Just black, no stickers, etc...
Some smoked lenses would look even nicer :D

Two words: Hell no

If I had a silver car I wouldn't mind some gunmetal Volks or something. And i'd only use black as track rims. As for the rest of it, I don't go for the blacked out look. It's too 'secret service' for me. Contrast is our friend.

I like them Matt, first glance I like the old ones better, but saving 20lbs quickly changed my mind! Wanna give me the old ones for like $20 and I'll put them on the laser?

Wait until the bodywork gets done, the more agressive look of these wheels will match it better.

Oh, and add another two zero's to that twenty and they're all yours.

Are those like Tom's wheels??But those wheels ae nice though. If it was me, I would get the ones with the lip, but then you will have wheels like Toms but other then that, those look pretty sweet.

Looks bad as hell if you ask me. More so because they are lighter. Less rotational mass is also our friend.

Well duh! 20 pounds less on the whole car is worthless, 20 pounds less on the wheels is priceless!

Keep the original style. You know how much I LOVE your car. The rims don't look good. No offense though.

I like both styles. Personally I would go with these:

SSR Comps are really weak rims.

The only reason i'd change wheels is because i'd be getting them for free. I would really like to see the car with the reiger front and S4 sides with both sets of wheels so that I could make my decision.

Looks very nice Matt.

What's semi-forged? Never heard of it.

SSR is the only wheel company that utilizes it. Also called Seli-solid forging. I've heard people call it 'hot forging' before. I think it's essentially heating up a billet piece and forcing it into a mold. The process is more like casting with a mechanical result closer to forging.
