There are numerous places on the net to do this, but I know one or two of you guys have some first hand experience with this, so if you have any recommendations i'd love to hear them.

I have heard good things about H-motors online...and a new site I fell upon recently

www.stormperformance.net

They have a warehouse out of florida(save on shipping)

Peformance shop. You can see what you are getting before paying for it. Plus, you can save on shipping if you can pick it up yourself (shipping would be a shitload for a full motor, right? ).

my friend got one from JDMhondaparts. It pulled stronger than mine. password jdm has some too, they sponsor the leading wchc cars.

I would agree, see if richard has any.

I JUST got my friends B16 in from HMO a week ago and so far all looks good. We're installing it currently. They do leak down/compression testing etc... it's a good place.

Richards # is 256-337-5528, tell him I sent you. He OWNS the honda market up here! Michael got his LS swap from him. IMO no place is better than the other, except for the people who represent the companies....all the motors are random. Thats like saying, "I'm gonna go to junkyard A to get these parts, cuase I heard they had better wrecked crs than junkyard b and c!"

Richard is a great, very knowledgable guy (known him for 12+ years) and he's local to Huntsville...

I will have to say, that after 3 motors from HMO all of which ran perfect and were in great shape right off of the pallet I will not be looking for any other supplier. The guys are easy to deal with and don't try to shoot you any crap.
