Will a Garret turbo fit up to a manifold built for a TURBONETICS turbo...if it is the same size turbo? I am wanting to use a DRAG gen 4 turbo manifold and I found a great deal on a T3 garrett turbo. Any help would be appreciated...I know its a DUMB question...but I need some assistance

Umm, no T3's dude. Just get a nice 57 trim and call it good.

Turbonetics used the same bolt patterns as garret, they're pretty much the same thing.
No T3s? I'd be willing to bet that manifold has a T3 flange on it... What else could you bolt to it? There are tons of cheap T3s on ebay, you just have know what specs you want because they come in about 50 flavors and they vary quite a bit.

The answer is probably a yes. most kits now come with t3/t4's which is...a t3 as far as the manifold is concerned.

Earth to Jeff, the standard t3/t4 works very well ;) And look at that, it matches your requirements also :P Anyway, the T3's are so-so, they are really old school and the only thing that really redeems them in terms of flow is a nice T04 compressor and cover :)

Get a nice T3/T4 man and call it good. .63 a/r tubine housing and either a 50 or 57 trim will do the job nicely and give you decent spool (in the 3k range on a 2.2l 16v motor).

Would I need the extra room for REV...I am tapped out at 6200-6300RPM. Am I going to be able to get everything out of that T3/t4? I know the T3/T4 isnt a HUGE turbo by any means...I just dont want to be getting something I cant get everything out of. I dont mind purchasing the T3/t4...Its money I can afford to spend

Get a T3/T04e- .48 exh a/r, 57 trim comp. Works very well on a lot of LS's that rev to 7k. Since you will be going to 6200rpm, this turbo will give you even better spool(2.2l vs. 1.8 ) and you won't have any problems making power at redline.

Oh, and www.honda-tech.com for any other questions about the setup. You will get much more in depth answers.
