View Full Version : Whining/Whistling Noise After Turbo Install

Greyson might know the answer to this. After installing my new BB turbo, I get a whining/whistling noise coming from under the hood somewhere. Only happens with resistance tho, so not in neutral. Therefore I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. Is this just the noise this turbo makes? It's not the usual turbo whislte at all btw.

Just when you are driving along, or when under boost?

The GT-25 turbo makes a very shrill noise under boost.

i just put an exhaust on.

Something from the back of the car makes a loud noise when i push the gas petal. Its raspy and deep sounding.

Is my engine thingy broke?

Frosty.....your engine oil check pipe is broken.....replace with the newly redesigned ones from the Ford Cobra supercharger housing.
