Michael, Greyson, and I were discussing the the attitudes people have on the www.s2ki.com board and here's just a little sample. You should've seen the response I got after they saw the S2000 vs. the Passat video.

BTW, Auburn S2000 is my dad.

Frankly it doesn't sound any worse than any of the other car specific forums i've ever seen.

Oh no, the "Kills" section is hilarious. You ought to see what goes down in that forum......you'd think they owned 1.8Ts  ;) the way they go running around talking how they beat:
-SLK 32 AMGs
-Cobras
-Corvettes
-anything that it ludicrously faster than that car, but strokes their car "lawnmower" (great flame threads in there too :)) and egos ;)

What about this guy???
"test pipe, replacing the cat conv? i really don't know what a "test pipe" is, but my assumption is that basically, there is no cat conv? on that note, a cat conv does a LOT, from my understanding and experience, to lessen horsepower. if a person takes off his cat conv, well, you'd "make" a lot of hp's and your car will pull VERY well, especially towards the top. my friend took off his and put in a straight pipe once. we took it on the highway and it pulled VERY well, much much better than it ever did.
didn't porsche have a problem having to put one on, in order for them to pass emissions in the US, back in the days? they didn't like the idea b/c it made such a speed difference. one of the reasons they're faster in europe than here?"
I don't care if you are into performance or not, but everyone should know what emmisions and converters are...it just kills me how he thinks it was only porches that needed cats...back in the day.
