I think it looks pretty snazzy personally, I still like the roadster better, one of the few drop tops that I like.

Are you serious? That obviously isn't real.

Oh yes it is. The S2K can't compete with the 350Z until the convertible comes out so they also want to make a coupe to compete with it. Do you think it's not a good idea?

If you didn't catch it here's a little more information.

Finally... Any real sports car pretty much has to be a hardtop.

It is close to an engineering impossibility (with current technology and metalurgy) to build a drop-top with the performance handling capabilities of the hardtop version.

He let you shit in it? ;)

I meant the picture isn't real. It's just an insider's rumour, that picture has no basis other than its just a hardtop on an S2000. So who cares what you think of it, the new one (if it happens) is going to be different.

I'm all for them producing one though.

Me thinks the S2000 should have had a hardtop version to begin with.

Hardtop=more chasis rigidity and less weight.

I wasn't getting cocky, I just didn't know what he meant. There is talk of a coupe though. I just wanted some opinions.

It handles good enough already.

Cool cool, I hadn't researched it but I thought they had already set a date for a debut of it, but I guess I heard wrong. So basically nothing is set in stone? What I heard was they were putting a 6 cyl in the coupe and it was going to have 300+ hp...any truth to this at all?

I think that would be against Honda's religion. I still think either a 2.2 or a 2.5 with 260-280 HP. I can't wait to see it if it comes out.

Uh, ok so you don't want them to make it better? Do you not want it to be faster, handle better, and have more versatility?

Well, are you saying that you wouldn't want it then if it was faster in every category?? The S2k is a very good performer in drop top configuration, but it will be even better in coupe form and the goal of every car company is to make progress with all new car models.

I'm just saying I'm satisfied with the way it is. If they want to come out with a coupe, that's fine, I'd like to see it, but I'm content with the way it is.

The S2000 is perfect in every way!

If they make it better, they are wasting thier time!
