'Saleen' Mustang *REWARD*

i dont have a pic and i have decided to have a contest for whoever can find this car in Auburn.

it is a red Mustang that had a SVT badge on it. i think this is a factory rice package that Ford offers. it had a stupid wing on it and a 'Saleen' sticker in the windsheild. the key part about this car is that it says BCHPLEAZ on the tag.

if you capture this car then i might buy you lunch or something.

It has as much HP as an NA Saleen...so I dont see a problem with the Cars badgine...His name Is Daniel...THe car is fast and sounds amazing...the bchpleaz makes sense if you knew him...hes a cool guy...ya like what ya like...hes certainly has the power to back it up...and a recently swapped manual transmission

it was a matter of speaking...there are several things needing modification to be taken as an SiR....but very minimal in terms of performance orientation...Headlights, skirts, valances, tails, engine...few upgrades over that of JDM spec...header, intake, exhaust...granted its not RHD...but oh well...it would still get an SiR badge...
It would be a Stock SiR badge...not a ubber-rice sticker...

I hardly think it would fall into ASSCLOWN status...seeing as I hope to Swap everything over on a 240sx(after the accord is modded out) and have a 180sx eventually...most of which will be cosmetics...(minus the ca18det under the hood)

If your car doesn't roll off the assembly line as a certain model it will never be that model.

Oh and by your logic what makes an engine the part that justifies the badge? To some people engine power doesn't matter. By what you are saying you could put the center caps from a Type-R on any Integra and now badge it a Type-R. If someone deems the center wheel caps the most important feature then I guess they have just as much right to call it a Type-R as you do swapping an engine and calling it an SIR.

Its definitely not a Ford 'factory rice package,' there's no such thing. Saleen is a different company anyway, and Ford's aftermarket stuff usually says Ford Racing or SVO on it, not SVT.

you would have just as much of an intention to do so...if certain things were done to make the car much like an SiR...just as I intend to do with a 180sx...its the same principle...I will be swapping tails, center badging, mirrors, headlights, front and upper strut braces, a ca18det, and whatever other little things need to be swapped out

You have your logic and I have mine...alls fair...its ghey to badge a car something particular if it doesnt have equal or better performance than the car its being labled as...however if its been done...then its BEEN done...that is how I feel abou it...

SO wait if I were get the JDM kit for my car, front lip, sideskirts, and rear, with the necessary blinkers and fog lights. Then badged it as a Trueno. That would be rice? I wouldn't have a MAP sensor with a high compression red top motor with smaller ports. So it would be rice yes?
