None the less... If it's on ebay and has valid winner it's a contract. He's obligated to seel the car to him at the stated price.
Personally if he really wants the car (the debate whether or not it's worth the price or not is a whole other discussion that I'm sure will happen) he can sue and claim it..
Curious whether or not this kid actually owns the car (possesses title) or does his parents :D

I talked with the auction winner last night. He called the guy's HOUSE cuz he said he wouldnt sell the car for that amount. he wanted $8000 or something. anywhere, heres some bits of the convo:
Hey dude, I called his mom

Even if I don't get the car I will get all my money back for sure
Shes the dean of the college of business at the university, so she knew exactly what I was talking about when I told her he had a contract to sell
I bet I could get the car still, shes going to call me tommrow after she talks to him about being stupid
When I called his house he anwsered the phone, he was SOOOO pissed
He was like "Why the hell didn't you call my phone"
Yep, he was listening on the other line the whole time too, I know he was going to cry after he heard me talk to his mom

He didn't even tell her he listed it for sale on e-bay
I know, and the title is in his moms name

The body kit is NOT painted. That is just white gelcoat on the fiberglass :lol:
As for how fast is it? We raced a couple times after leaving the shop...probably a mid-high 15 sec. car with all the shit in it.
