New S4

The Audiworld S4 forum has been in an uproar over this thing. Frankly, I think the listed performance numbers are BS. We'll know once people are actually driving them over here, and I for one expect them to be fairly impressive. As far as the design, the wheels blow. Audi has been stuck on those stupid avus rims on the S cars for too long. And I think the front fascia could be more agressive. For those of you who are familiar with Tom's denim blue A4 over at APR I think that's what the S4 should have looked like. Still, it's going to be a sweet ride, no doubt.

I really don't like where their design team is going.
They are really just following the general trend of the market by smoothing their body lines and making the car more round...

The current A4's and S4's have great body lines and great shapes.
Very elegant but, still very aggressive looking. A very hard thing to do.

The way their going the bodies are looking more and more wussy, even though they might have bi-turbos. It's just my opinion. It's like an asshole, everyone's got one...

That's because you haven't been staring at them on S4's for years. After you've been paying attention to them for a while you'll find them to be incredibly boring wheels. Audi should get a clue from BMW when it comes to nice factory wheels. Honestly the new A4 sport package wheels are much nicer than those things.

Oh, and Adam, if you were to see some nice pics of Tom's car in it's current setup you'd see how the new A4 is still capable of looking simultaneously sleek, sophisticated and agressive. It jut takes a few thousand dollars worth of aftermarket parts to make it that way. :D

Picture this with some subtle sideskirts and you have one bad-ass car. Oh, and of course a 2.9TT with K-16's, so you could chip it to 500+ HP. :shock:

Yeah, we took the Porsche out there last week and they actually let us take it on the course to take pictures. All the guys that work out at the course were staring at it and asking all kinds of questions. :D

FYI, Mahdavi Motorsports forum is not god. They "kinda" know what they are talking about. You have a much better chance of getting good info on SCAR than Mahdavi's site.
