After I finished my cam swap on saturday, I was re-installing the push-rods and rockers. I tightened them all hand tight then proceeded to torque them to spec. When I torqued the exhaust valve rocker on #3 cylinder, them damn stud snapped right off!!!! Unfortunately, the studs are not screw-in, they are pressed in after the heads are cast, and the threaded part is the part that broke off. I almost cried. I almost had the motor ready to go in the car. Oh well... turns out that a local machine shop had some spare studs and could pull it, so i got it done for $25!!
Now I have an excuse to put on some new Fel-pro head gaskets. HOPEFULLY ill have the bitch burning rubber before heading back to AU!

Naw dog you need the APC fwd conversion pack with 5 inch flywheel and clutch. I think you could even make due with a 500 shot of NAWZ on that so long as you only ever race from a role, because we all know real racers only race from a role.

I felt the same way when tightening down my flywheel bolts. It says 75 ft lbs. Man....... I closed my eyes till I heard the clicks. Does ARP not have anything for you?

They make the low weight Cardboard flywheel. It's coated with aluminum foil for durability.
