Where are the closest AWD dynos? Or anyone with dynopacks?

Im gonna need to hop on one pretty soon and mess with my car, as well as maybe do some tests on some diff turbo combinations im thinking about.

Also, FWIW it needs to have 600+hp capacity. Thanks.

They had one in Birmingham, I believe at next level. But even if they did, I think they got rid of it, or they are soon... not making enough money. I'm sure there are a few in ATL... call around. You can start by calling Batlground Engineering, I'm sure they'll know of who has one, if they don't. www.batlground.com There are a lot of good shops, well at least 3-5, in ATL.

SK VR4

whos APR, and where are they?

Isnt Batlground a supra tuner? Aka 2WD. I thought so, but ill call em on monday.

I was -> <- this close to getting dynopacks at my shop in daytona, i had it all set up with the lease-to-own and everything, but then i decided to transfer. I liked that because 1) there were TONS of awd cars there:

DSMs who didnt want to put in a spool
Porsches
Subarus
EVOs
Lambos (it was daytona beach, guys)
3000s/Stealths
Skyline(s)
Audis
etc

and with the dynopacks, i had the software and support for 2WD dynoing, too. Sucks, because i was just taking over the lease from a "local" shop, and it came with ALL KINDS of extra shit. I dont know why more people dont just purchase the 4WD add on to their dynopacks, and why more people dont use them more in general, because a BIG percentage of 'drivetrain' is lost in the tires, and also you lose all the rotational mass of the tires and wheels and it's safer. I would have made a killing, because there was only a land and sea 2wd dyno and one mustang dyno in town (daytona beach) and they suck, as the closest place to dyno was 4 hrs away, at a subiie dealer and was SO EXPENSIVE. One place in miami had a 4wd dynojet, but the guys werent very competant nor was the machinery new at all.

arg, im ranting again, but im pissed more people dont have dynos. well i have a while before i need the dyno, but i want to go check out the facilities beforehand, so if you can get me some numbers, addresses, etc etc id be much obliged. I have no clue about the geography here, so assume that :)

God you're a sarcastic jackass. I've noticed that from day one but have withheld myself from personal attacks.

The way you say "im not here to steal your cookies." It honestly looks like you're TRYING to piss people off and get in a fight, but then you use smilies and say things like "oh well im over it."

I don't hate how much you like your car or how much you know, I really don't care... I just hate you, your attitude, your way of life, everything about you. Who knows if you're like this in person or what, but damn... I want to slit your throat and play in your blood.

Ok, it's really all simple, but no one seems to be able to see it....

You came in here and instantly pissed most of us off. Whenever you go somewhere new, you should always get to know everyone first, and hold your tongue in arguments (as hard as it may be). Once you've gained everyones RESPECT, you can start to argue without everyone hating you. Hell, pretty much everyone on forums has this passion for arguing, maybe it's why we're here. We all argue, but we don't hate eachother... it's because of RESPECT. As much as some people like ActiveAero piss me off, I still respect them and easily get over an confrontation. What you need to do is just lay off for a while, hold your tongue, and get to know everyone in a more mild manner. Then, later on, you may express your point. :P

That is the most realistic solution to this entire problem. The other solutions include:

1) We ask you to leave and you respect that request.
2) You just go away.
3) We all manage to just ignore what you say, and eventually it will work out somehow. This could have fixed the problem from the beginning, but like I said, pretty much all of us enjoy arguing as much as you do, so it's partially everyones fault.

Please take these words to heart. I learned a while ago that arguing is pointless, I used to LOVE it, but lately have managed to stay out of most things. I can easily see us all friends, but not at this rate.

I'm out.

The APR shop here in AU is not a speed shop. Its the North American research center and headquarters of APR. I promise you they don't give a rats ass about you and your compadres. Good job assuming what APR was and dissapproving of their business practices. Again you show how much of a concieted moron you are by thinking you could have some sort of influence over APR.

I urge you to stop by APR with your current attitude. You could tell them that your car traps 800mph and that you have 10,000 VR-4's ready to dyno with them. Their response would probably be to yawn, not noticing that you were there in the first place, and then going back to something they actually care about.

internet forum. internet. Its the internet, not real life. internet =/ real life. real life =/ internet. You have no idea who i am. at all. period. You know less than 1% about me. AAMOF, ALL you know is my forum text. That is not real. That is typing. You keep saying im this and that.. youre wrong. You dont know, you realy dont. This is a form of communication just like speaking in person. Can you get a good idea of what a person is like by just 'talking' with them on an internet forum? Maybe. Will people draw conclusions about you from what you do on the internet? Yes. Can you tell intelligence level from internet posts? Maybe. Will people make assumptions about your intelligence by what you post? Yes. And they should. It's all they know.

If two people come on the board, one is a jackass and one is not, are people gooing to say 'well the jackass might actually be cooler, it's just the internet.' Hell no!

A cocky know-it-all attitude is your worst enemy, especially when you direct it at a group of people with backgrounds that you don't know. You are only burning bridges.

A418t81

Exactly, for all we know, you could be making up EVERY last thing that you've said on this board. You've shown no proof, no numbers, no anything. Your only "backups" have been misinformed, though hilarious, statments. You've talked about how cool your car is, how everybody wants your supercar, and how everybody drools over it, etc. I am basing everything I say on the way that you act here. I, unlike some it seems, am the same in real life as I am on the internet. I'd say just about anything here to your face as well if you were talking the same BS.

Either way, I don't hate you at all. I don't even disklike you. Bickering is taken to a fine art in my family and it is not met with any ill content. You entertain me and this "discussion" we've been having has been very interesting as it takes my mind of of my gross anatomy test I have tomorrow (4 hr test). in all relation to this conversation about people being different in person and people being dick heads internet wise...

Brock-Comes off a bit half cocked and tempermental...however...has been very helpful with advice and suggestions when I needed them...

Scott(wiggie)-certainly a NEWB CRUSHER! I was crushed more times than grapes at an I LOVE LUCY festival...but also showed himself when it came around to knowledge, advice, and especially suggestions.

Kenny-Self Explanitory...total ass hole! He has is shining moments...but still...its kenny we are talking about here 8) (BTW KENNY, dont come kill me or anything)

Matt-wealth of knowledge...so much that I get a bit overwhelming while trying to comprehend it...

Charlie-have yet to have a conversation with you in person...however...respectively...damn...A great help when it came to shutting my mouth and actually reading the fine print when it came to the questions I was asking

Mike337, Clint, Mike, Greyson, Jess, Chappy-All of which I been to serveral meets with and could not imagine being part of this group with out that list of people being a HUGE part of it! Jess has always been there to help...and has always been appreciated...Greyson and Mike...them being brothers...kinda hard to link...Mike is just mike...very technical and analitical, smart and helpful. Greyson has always just been funny as hell to be around...and when the questions are laid up...there are certainly answers that far exceed proper and acceptable. Mike337 just a great guy to be at meets with...great car, knowledgeable and if he was down here...I know would have been diggin thru my ECU/suspension/ECT...while jess and the rest of us ripped thru it also...Chappy...HOLY HELL, could we all know a nicer person? I actually doubt...I can say thanks for actually helping me find this SITE...introducing me to this great group of people...

I just appreciate all of it...and this can only help to illustrate that I gained impressions of people in person and thru the internet...internet based...well shit...several of the people on here I have never conversed with in person...nor had the opportunity...but have a more than general idea of what kind of person they are...and who they are...

Just being complimentary again guys...Its a habbit of mine...comes with me being extremely appreciative...and threads like these just get me kinda worked up on it all...

I guess that counts for something...you are certainly a cool person to be at a bar with...if that counts for something 8)

I promise I'm just as fun to be around when I'm not at a bar. :D

Good to hear Cameron( 8) )I believe you though...certainly was nice talking with you at the bar...brought you into a better light...perhaps our little band of Aspeed freaks can go to an AUTOx event...or perhaps an SCCA event at barber or road atlanta if there is ever a time that I can get off for work...that would ROCK!
