Went to run the car tonight just to see what she is trapping. Now for those that don't know, my clutch has gotten pretty bad. Most of you saw it slip the other night when we were video'ing....it wasn't pretty at all. So, mission number 1 for the night, make sure my tires spin. Mission number 2, try not to fall out of vtec on the launch, and mission number three, don't hit the rev limiter. I aired the tires up to 47lbs all around. That should hopefully get them to spin. I launched from 8k rpms on the first run. 60' was a 2.341 and the 1/4 et was a 14.529@97.3mph. Not bad, but I dropped out of vtec on the launch(just barely) and bumped the rev limiter in second gear. I had come with intentions of just running one time and with the way my clutch had been acting, I was extremely nervouse about that. But, I figured I might pop the intake lid off of my air box and see if there was a difference to be had. Next run I dumped from the same place as before with the same intentions of spinning as before. Slip read like this
60'-2.376
1/8-9.533@77.01mph
1/4-14.573@97.49mph

Hopefully you can get your trap up to 99+ next time and get your time down as well. It looks like your clutch it killing you. Time for a Comptech.

Without more mods, my trap isn't going anywhere except for down. Track temp was 55deg. No way my car is going to trap any higher in hotter weather. I don't see how some of those S2k guys go 100+mph.
