Tablet PCs are all hype IMO. Then again, I type 100wpm and I don't need to handwright anything.
IBM laptops are light, minimalist, and extremely durable and high quality. Of course they are more expensive too.
Choose wisely. Don't get an HP laptop please.

lol, well now that I'm back and I have some time to type I'll let you all know what I want. I want a good bit of storage space, at least 40gigs. I want it to be fast. I'll mainly be using it for notes in class. I wrote on one before with a stylus and all I can say is AMAZING! I loved it, it was like writing on paper. They looks great. Do they hold up well? What brands should I look for? I can also get the ones with the keyboard and the fully rotatable screen so I can lay it down over the keyboard. According to my friend Ben "true" tablet PC's don't have keyboards...well I would certainly like one that has one. I can type fast as well and most of my notes would be typed except for shit like diagrams and apporach plates etc..for my aviation classes and math problems in my cal class. I want to spend less than $2k and I need something with a good warranty. Propa out.
