Ok for starters if anyone posts a spoiler or tells me about something cool I haven't gotten to yet I'll kill you. http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emsmilep.gif
So far the game seems to be incredible. The graphics and sound are simply amazing.
The story seems to be back to more of a MGS1 level, which is a very good thing. I for one thought the story of MGS2 was just too crazy and didn't connect you well with the other characters. I have a strong feeling this one will be much different.
The difficulty level seems to be bumped up a bit as well. You really have to pay attention and use the first person view a lot since you don't have a radar. Guards will pick you out from a mile away if you aren't camo'd well or are running around like an idiot. They don't seem to do as much damage as before, but getting sighted seems to be a much larger concern, mainly because they'll stay in evasive or caution mode for 5 years trying to flush you out. It's kinda annoying how long you have to wait after getting spotted, but in the end I think it will just serve to make me that much more cautious about being seen.
I haven't really got that far yet but things are starting to get interesting. The first few hrs of the game have a lot of tedious text to explain everything to the newbs (heck there are a bunch of new things for me to learn as well), but I think the story is starting to settle down. I give it http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emthup.gif http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emthup.gif so far.
