I have been looking around for about a month, and really want a decent camera with around 3-4 megapixels, and somewhat easy to learn. Anybody got any suggestions

$$ range??

Personally I'd stick with Canon, Nikon, or Sony. (In that order)

We have the Cannon S500 Powershot and I like it alot. It's 5 MegaPixels and takes up to 3min worth of vid. I think they are right around $399 now. I guess it depends on your price range and the features you are looking for. Like Nick said you can pick up a nice 3-4 MP camera for around $200 real easy. I would check out Best Buy now that they are open. They have the largest selection of cameras.

If you want to splurge Sony has a new 7.2 MP for $499 :O

I have a Canon Powershot SD10, it's 4 MP, smaller than my cell phone :o and has a decent sized LCD screen. No optical zoom. But if you like to have a camera you can stick in your pocket, it's f'in awesome and takes excellent pictures, especially good on close-ups.

I got it for uner $300 shipped too. Froogle baby. ;)

i went and looked around today, went to two camera stores, and best buy, i was gonna go with an olympus stylus 410, but after using the canon power shot a75 and 85, i think i am gonna stick with one of the those, and the price is great
